{Jill & Chaz} Washington DC Engagement

November 24th, 2010

Just after the election this year, Donny and I flew out to Washington D.C. to visit our friends, Jill and Chaz. After such an great time with these two in Europe early this past summer, we couldn’t wait to explore another city with them. This was a little different though – I was honored to take their engagement pictures during the weekend. (They got engaged RIGHT before they met up with us in Zurich!) Check them out…

I’m going to keep randomly posting the progression of Europe Vacation 2010, until all the awesomeness of the trip has been posted. It was just too good not to share. I am so glad we had this hoorah before life gets crazy. Besides, this is where I REALLY got to put my photography skills to the test.

So, after less than 24 hours in Paris, we took a train through the French countryside into Zurich, Switzerland, where my good friend from college, Clayton, was going to meet us. Later that evening, Chaz and Jill were going to meet up with all of us there, so it was the perfect opportunity to wander the city.

St. Peter has the clock on the steeple and Fraumünster church is the blue one in the back. [054]

It’s hard to pick and choose what to post! There were so many cool buildings and pathways… which, why didn’t anyone warn me that flip-flops don’t work well on cobblestone? By this point in the trip, day 2, I could tell my feet were going to be hurtin’ for certain. Crazy Swiss. And putting everything up on hills doesn’t make the journey easy either.

By the way, notice the new logo mark?

Love, Paris

And I totally see this image when I think of Paris now… a girl in a spring dress, riding her bike…
