This was the first time my oldest ever sat on a carousel. Well, it was back in February, but in between client sessions, I’m always a little behind on personal ‘sessions’. I love lifestyle photography the best… unposed, raw, and authentic. He was authentically enjoying it though his face doesn’t show. He’s pretty serious. As soon as we got off though, and he was stamped, he wanted to jump right back on. My sister and nephew were there to enjoy the fun!

Those two cuties are my son, Kyler (on the left) and my nephew, Lincoln (on the right). They were born nearly 6 weeks apart! I was at home in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, to visit my family for Lincoln’s cultural one month birthday celebration.

It was nice to enjoy each other’s company and now that we have started the next generation, it seems 10x more fun. 6 weeks in age difference seems like a lot NOW, but these two are going to be practically twins… brothers… later and I can’t wait to be able to share more personal images like these.
