{Parker} East Lansing Newborn Photographer

August 27th, 2014

Meet this Lansing cutie, Parker. I visited Parker and his family in their East Lansing home to take his debut newborn photos. He was one of the easiest newborns to photograph – slept for most of it! Plus, isn’t that Hungry Caterpillar inspired set-up adorable? Big sister is just as adorable as newborn Parker! She […]

Big sister is just as adorable as newborn Parker! She loved him so much and was so great and holding him. I can tell they’ll be best friends (at least some of the time).

{Truong} The Sweetest Family Christmas Card Photo Shoot in Lansing, Michigan

December 5th, 2012

Lisa and I first met after working on a portrait session together. I am so thankful that she keeps coming back to work with me! They were so much fun to work with – the kids, Ethan and Emmy, got so into it that they gladly ‘set up’ some of the shots for me!

The CRAZY part is that they all love each other. 🙂 For this shot, I shouted, "Everyone, quick! Look at someone else!" And they ALL looked at Emmy. There is no mistake on who the star of the show is!

{Lexi} UofM versus MSU Sister Mini Maternity Session: Old Town Lansing Photographer

July 19th, 2012

On a personal note, I am sharing an incredible moment with my little sister. We’re both expecting boys this Fall/Winter (6 weeks apart)! There is nothing like growing up with cousins the same age. I remember loving the trips we’d take to be around our distant cousins, but with us, we’ll at least be in […]

There is nothing like growing up with cousins the same age. I remember loving the trips we’d take to be around our distant cousins, but with us, we’ll at least be in state :).

Last weekend, we got together and took some sister maternity pictures in Old Town Lansing. Donny was the main photographer this time as I was one of the subjects. This was mainly a mini-maternity session for my sister who was a little concerned that I’d be “too pregnant” to take her pictures later. So she, her boyfriend, Donny, and I headed out in the unbearable heat for the mini session. She was at 22.5 weeks and I was almost 28 weeks. Luckily, we stayed in the shade for most of it!

If you know anything about Michigan, you know about the MSU-UofM rivalry. We playfully made that the theme for the photoshoot since Donny is a HUGE Michigan State Fan – it’s his alma mater and Kaz, my sister’s boyfriend, is a huge University of Michigan fan.

See more of the photoshoot below and on our flickr site.

We definitely had a good time.

iPhone Addiction

December 2nd, 2010

We went to a wedding back in October. There was a lot of time between the ceremony and reception, so we stopped at Chipotle Mexican Grill (yum) for a “snack” and hung out in Lansing for awhile. This is just what I call an addiction. I suppose that since I had the camera on my […]

This is just what I call an addiction.

I suppose that since I had the camera on my lap while diving into a barbacoa burrito bowl, I am just as guilty of addiction.

Mmm. Barbacoa.
